Merry is an engaging, fun, and motivating speaker. She has a PhD in Communication from the University of Kentucky. Before returning to the stage, Merry dedicated herself to global and community development, specializing in grassroots organizing and storytelling for change. After her own experience escaping domestic violence, she found healing in the arts. She speaks on topics like the power of telling your own story, confidence, imposter syndrome, resilience, and starting over. Merry co-hosts a podcast on theatre, runs social media and communication for a number of organizations, has a growing social media following of her own, and is available to speak at events.
