Merry Annette King has been teaching dance since 2005 and coaching flexibility since 2020. She is a passionate teacher with over a decade of experience in the college classroom and a doctorate in communication. She loves helping performers connect technique with authentic storytelling. Merry has choreographed for stage productions, cabaret shows, and circus acts, while also coaching individuals in flexibility, strength, and stage presence. She is especially passionate about mentoring adult dancers and performers returning to the arts, offering a “big-sister” style of guidance that emphasizes resilience and joy. Her mission: to help artists find confidence, refine their craft, and step fully into the spotlight.
Merry has choreographed a number of high school and community productions across musical theatre and aerial theatre. She is also a sought coach for competitive dance, dance reels, etc.
Merry offers a number of workshops to bring to studios. She can provide workshops in ballet, jazz, flexibility and conditioning, aerial arts, and dance career.
Merry offers a variety of online and in-person coaching options. She specializes in dance and flexibility coaching.
