12 Days to the Stage
A 12-day mentorship class for performers who are ready to stop feeling stuck and start putting themselves back into the spotlight.
This is for you if you’re:
a theatre kid who never got your shot after COVID
a singer wanting more visibility
a talented actor who feels like they’re in the wrong rooms
dancer who stepped away and needs a comeback plan
aerialist who’s stuck at “student performer” and wants real paying gigs
an artist in a small town with big city dreams and no idea how to take the next step
a performer tired of working a million jobs and unsure how to level up and make a really living
You feel stuck like there’s not enough time to pursue your dreams. You’re working too many jobs and don’t have time to really invest in your creative endeavors. You feel overwhelmed at how to take the next step. You don’t know where to find auditions, how to price yourself or how to prioritize your artistry in a world of too many responsibilities.
Most artists get stuck in a cycle of low-paying gigs, jobs that burn them out, teaching long hours at the studio when they’d rather be on stage, or trapped in an endless phase of work that is no longer challenging or getting you where you want to be.
You know you’re in the wrong rooms, but you don’t know how to find the right ones.
You’re posting online but not getting any leads.
You want bigger opportunities but you’re overwhelmed with how to get there.
That’s exactly where I was.
I always wanted to be a professional dancer but I didn’t think I was talented enough, so I ended up in academia with a PhD in Communication. When I found aerial arts, I thought maybe there was a chance for me to get back on stage but I had no idea how to make it a career. I was taking low-paying gigs and desperate to find anything to fill that creative void inside. When everything fell apart, I had no choice but to rebuild my life and put my artistry at the center.
I went from my first musical in 12 years to national tour callbacks, a commercial agency, and contracts/gigs that pay my bills, allow me to train the way I couldn’t as a kid, and actually make an impact as an artist.
I quit teaching a million hours at dance studios that were burning me out and started putting that time into leveling up my work and submitting it. Now, I have the freedom to train the way I want, turn down work that will drain me, and get under the spotlight again.
I want to help you do it too! I LOVE helping my friends and community members get work that pays and aligns with their big dreams.

About Merry
Before returning to the arts, I spent a decade in academia and the non-profit sectors working with students, organizations, and communities on telling their story to create more opportunities. With a Doctorate in Communication, my expertise is in helping people tell their story across formats, to build a future where they thrive. I rebuilt my own life after domestic violence and now work as a freelance performing artist chasing big Broadway dreams.
I know this is crazy, but if I can get a callback for the Rockettes when I’m 5’2, in my 30s, and honestly, a terrible precision dancer… I can get you booking work.
I meet so many people far more talented, who simply lack the knowledge on how to get in the right rooms, how to structure their reels, and how to effectively put their work out there.
When I came back, I was severely out of practice. When I tell you, I went to an audition for Wicked having never taken a vocal lesson and with loose sheet music. I made a million mistakes trying to figure out how to audition in NYC, book theatre contracts, and level up.
I figured out how to invest in my artistry while still supporting myself.
Now, I live in Lexington but I have a community and network in NYC. I’m getting callbacks for my dream roles on Broadway tours. My artistic endeavors fill my creative cup and give me financial freedom. I’m producing shows, developing my artistry, and on the wild ride toward Broadway.
Here’s the thing… I know if I can do it for me… the girl from Appalachia who didn’t have the training to make it when I was younger… I can do it for you.
2026 is your year.
Let’s do this.
